    This was great thank you for all of your videos. I have learned so much. I do have a question about this importing...what if you do want to link it to a Cloud Project? Do you have another video that shows a export of a Confluence project space that is connected to a Jira project that also needs to be exported and moved to the new cloud instance?

    But you are going to need to pay a JSM licence for all the member that need to see those JSM tickets. It would be great if we could at least create JIRA Sub tasks linked to these JSM tickets so members of the team can work on those while Agents see the whole thing and interact with customers

    Awesome thanks for that. But I do have an issue it does not add the epic if I connect them by the epic link with the key. I just get a correct import of the stories without adding to an epic. There is a new importer btw. but you can just add stories with creating a new jira project -.-

    HI, Can i use components to help with post deployment? for example all "UI" issues completed can be catorised with components and allocated to our post deployment team to update for example training guides and documentation? but ie. "BACKEND" component can just be part of the release notes because it did not have any direct impact on the operational or support teams

    thanks dude, atlassian community didn't help. It is all about the field 'security level' What I did, if any help to anyone else was: 1. Created an approval board, and only wanted people who submitted issues and the people on the approval chain to see the ticket 2. Two custom work flows for each ticket type, where when one is finished it creates the next ticket and carries over the fields (which all need security) 3. Then have 4 custom fields, which are required when move to second status, since status one is a 'to-do', however still only want the reporter to see their ticket then 4. So created a issue security scheme, where the people in each custom field (which are also used for transitions and post work), admin group, and finance group can see them. 5. created an automation for when new tickets were created to set security level. It kept failing, I was stuck, nothing would work, everyone could see all tickets I then saw here to add the security level field...and that did the trick. I can even go back and lock-down existing tickets.

    I think it is also important to distinguish between your role because being a Jira administrator can mean many things. You can be a consultant or a support administrator, and then you are in a servant position. If you are like me, in a Platform or Product owner position, then you are no longer in a servant position, but in a position of authority and guidance. In a servant position, you don't really have the mandate to say no, so you have to convince with logic and hope the customer is smart enough to listen. In a position of authority, people listen more to you, but there will still be people that are narcissist, psychopaths or Machiavellian that you just can't reason with. So you always have to choose what hills you want to die on and when you let trash configurations into your product. That is when you document a technical debt as well, so you make sure you have it on record that the user demanded a change against your recommendation. I never compromise. I show them what I believe is the right solution and then we either go with that solution, or their solution. Sometimes we might come up with a new solution based on both of our views as well.

    Hello! Thank you for the video, it's certainly interesting, but I would like to ask about the specific categories that go into your bug fields. For example, in the component field I've created a dropdown menu, where you can select between: Functionality, Localization, Usability, Reliability, Performance, Supportability (yeah, that's the FLURPS framework). Alternatively, I'm thinking about adding a similar field for selecting the level of the issue: Unit, Integration, System, Acceptance. Categorizing the bugs by their testing levels, I think that could be useful at least internally for the QA team. Happy to hear your thoughts about that! Thank you.

    Hi Alex! Great tutorial, thanks! But if there is a feature like "base plan" (which MS Project has)? I mean, how I can track if we are on plan or not? For example a story is not blocked by something, but the initial estimate was wrong. And we have to spend more time to do the job. Can we somehow display it?
